Egypt To Represent Africa In ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023

Egypt will the flag-bearer of African continent in the ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023 which is set to take place in the vibrant city of Chengdu, China.

Set to take place from December 4 to 10, 2023, eighteen teams competing for inaugural glory have been unveiled as the global table tennis community eagerly awaits the return of this monumental event.

The event marks a groundbreaking shift in the world of table tennis as well as embracing an innovative mixed team format. This edition of the World Cup champions the ethos of collaboration and equality in sport, inviting both men and women to compete side by side for national glory.

This illustrious list includes winners of Men’s or Women’s Continental team events and the best teams evaluated through a combination of men’s and women’s team ranking positions, with a limit of six teams per continent.

Teams will consist of three to four men’s and women’s players each, creating a dynamic blend of talents at the table.  

Players from powerhouse nations and emerging talents from across the globe will converge at the iconic Sichuan Gymnasium, eager to etch their names into history and vie for the coveted title of ITTF Mixed Team World Cup champions.
