Sporting Lagos Announce Christian Nwoke’s Departure To Aarhus Fremad

Sporting Lagos have officially confirmed that their goalkeeper Christian Nwoke has completed a move to Danish club Aarhus Fremad.

The lanky goalkeeper who played most of the Lagos based club games in the 2023/24 NPFL campaign will now ply his trade with the Danish 2nd Division outfit.

The club made this known on their official X handle: “Sporting Lagos and Aarhus Fremad are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Christian Nwoke will be making a move to Aarhus Fremad”.

“This move is a significant milestone in our partnership and a glimpse of what’s to come, as we stay committed to being a pathway for nurturing talent. And we couldn’t be prouder that Christian, with his standout performances — from season-defining penalty saves to game-changing moments — is leading the way”.

Having relegated from the Nigeria topflight last season, Sporting Lagos will be hoping to make a swift return to the NPFL when the NNL season begins.
