Defending champion Nigeria Falcons will go against five other teams; Gosar RFC, Racing RFC, Kings Rugby Team, Accra Rugby Team and Cowrie RFC as they aim for ‘Trys’ at the Sandie Beach Rugby Eleven this weekend.
The event has not failed in serving up a potpourri of entertainment and sport as the organiser has stepped up all activities needed for an exciting event scheduled for November 25 and 26 to a desirable level.
Interesting weekend awaits rugby enthusiasts and fun-lovers when they arrive the National Institute for Sports and the iconic Landmark Beach as Nigeria Falcons hope to defend their crown.
The venues pack the honour of being the foremost citadel for sports and the first Lagos’ in-city private beach front known for its splendour and recreational ambience.
A mini-tournament has also been set aside for the children to learn and enjoy the game on the beach.
Tubosun Johnson, who is the head at Turbo Crest said the Sandie Beach Rugby Eleven will again be adding colour and panache to popularize the sport in the country in a different style.

He said many side attractions have been made available in other to put enthusiasts and fun-seekers alike in the mood for the festive season.
“This edition will hold on November 25 and 26 at the NIS in Surulere and Landmark Beach on Victoria Island. Rugby will once again be the centre of attraction. However, there will be side attractions like face painting, body arts, bikini contest and macho-man competition. There will also be performing artiste and many other activities which attendees will enjoy.”
