World football governing body president, Gianni Infantino has congratulated Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2023/24 winners Enugu Rangers following their title conquest.
Ending an 8 years title bareness, Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side dethroned defending champions Enyimba FC to win their 8th title and also the gaffer claiming his first NPFL championship in his managerial career.
Infantino on his official Instagram handle celebrated champions of various leagues across Africa following a successful season and he reached out to Rangers, attaching a picture of their title celebrations accompanied by a post which read; “Congratulations Rangers International FC on being crowned champions 2023-24 champions of Nigeria”.
In excitement, the post has since been posted on Rangers X handle as fans hails the extraordinary and kind gesture of FIFA president.
