Association Of Club Owners Honor Darlington Obaseki With Life Patron Award

The management of the Association of Club owners, organizers of the Benin City Youth League under the able leadership of Dauglas Idahosa during the week honored the chief medical director of the university of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) professor Darlington Obaseki with a life time patron Award.

The event which held at the office of the sports loving Professor, had in attendance Members of the Association Youth club owners chairman Dauglas Idahosa, Kennedy Ugbodaga secretary of the body, Roland Inonoje the vice chairman of the body and chairman Ovia North East Local Government Area FA, the financial secretary Mr Chinedu Uba who is also the chairman Egor Local Government Area FA boss and many others.

Chairman of the Association, Dauglas Idahosa’s speech on the award:

“We are here to give you this award because of your contributions towards youth Football in the state, you have done so much for the game and we recognize all that hence this award from us”.

In his response, the CMD thanked members of the Association of Club owners organisers of the Benin City Youth League for the Award, and promise to associate with the body.

“I want to thank you for this award, this will spur me on to do more for the game of football, your association is the type I would want to associate with given what you are doing to develop football in the state, please keep doing your best for the game”, Obaseki stated.

The Association of Club owners, organizers of the Benin City Youth League will on June 26th 2024 kick start the 4th Edition of the Benin City Youth League with Fourteen teams participating.
