Victor Osimhen Hits Hat-Trick For Napoli In Emphatic Win

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been on fire since returning from the AFCON and he was yet again the star for his side on Wednesday.

Napoli went to the Stadio Mapei in Regio Emilia and inflicted a huge defeat on Sassuolo in a rescheduled Serie A game.

The defending champions secured their first win in four league games thanks to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s brilliance against Sassuolo.

Last season’s Capocannonieri winner scored his first treble of the season while also registering an assist as Napoli humiliated Sassuolo.

Since his return, the 25 year old has scored in all three games he has played for the Partnopei.

His tally for the season stands at eleven goals and three assists in fifteen Serie A games.

Speculations are rife that Victor Osimhen could be leaving Naples at the end of the current season but the lethargic striker is currently focused on helping Napoli finish the season strongly.
