The official draw for the Paris 2024 Olympics basketball competition which took place today at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies has pitted D’Tigress of Nigeria get tough match-ups.
The highly anticipated event which was viewed fans worldwide on FIBA‘s YouTube page featured performances by the famous Penny Taylor and Carmelo Anthony. It set the foundation for all teams hoping to win the Men’s and Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournaments in Paris.
The excitement around this year’s Paris 2024 Olympics basketball tournaments which will take place in France from July 27 to August 11, has increased as a result of the drawings involving top teams been pitted in the same group.
The Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 draw is as follows:
GROUP A: Serbia, Spain, China, Puerto Rico
GROUP B: Canada, Nigeria, Australia, France
GROUP C: Germany, USA, Japan, Belarus
Men’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 draw is as follows:
GROUP A: Australia, Greece, Canada, Spain
GROUP B: France, Germany, Japan,
GROUP C: Serbia, South Sudan, Puerto Rico, USA
The Men’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 Draw as well as the Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Principles are based on the FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by Nike, as well as other geographical principles. The distribution of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OQT’s) winners was based on the best-ranked team at each event.
