NPFL 24: I Woke Up In Tears, Fulfilled” – Amobi Ezeaku Speaks On Debut With Enugu Rangers

The GM/CEO of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, Enugu Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku is euphoria over his dream debut with the club yesterday, admitting that it was a life long dream come true.

The football administrator is one of the most revered club chairmen in the Nigeria Professional Football League and his active and course changing contributions have not gone unnoticed in the Nigerian football folklore.

History was made on the third day of March as Barrister Amobi Ezeaku made the bench for Rangers’ 2-0 away victory against Niger Tornadoes in Kaduna.

He shared on his X handle today, “I woke up in tears. Fulfilled. This means a lot to me. To wear the badge of this great Club. To fight for this badge and the people who love this”.

“To fight for our Ancestors and protection of our history”.

“I was born loving this game and this Club. I will die loving this game and this Club. This is beyond the game. This is more than the game. This is my life”.

Following this unusual event yesterday, reactions have trailed this action especially considering his age as culled from the replies to his post and also his administrative position with the club.
