Frank Onyeka Scores First EPL Goal To End Brentford’s Nine Games Winless Run

Frank Onyeka

Frank Onyeka has scored his first (EPL) Premier League goal after three seasons with Brentford to ensure made the Bees first win in over two months with a close-range finish not three minutes after coming on to take Thomas Frank’s side up to 14th.

Odd as it may sound for a 2-0 victory over the bottom-of-the-table team Sheffield United, that seems as ordinary as they come, Frank Onyeka’s injury-time goal gives a more enjoyable twist to a match that for over an hour looked like it would be forgotten by morning.

Either way, the outpouring of relief at Onyeka’s second told it all – Brentford were back to winning ways in the Premier League.

As such, there was only one emotion for Thomas Frank at three points that take Brentford closer to Premier League football for another year.
