Clinton Jephta’s Rangers contract has been rescinded after revelation of a previous agreement with another club.
19 year old attacker Clinton Jephta had already been announced as the latest signing for the reigning league champions.
The left winger starred for Niger Tornadoes last season in the NPFL, scoring eight times and providing three assists.
His breakthrough season saw him become the toast of every top club in the domestic league.
Having already seen an announcement by Rangers confirming the player as their latest signing, it was revealed that Enyimba have an existing agreement with the teenager.
As per reports, the FC One Rocket product has been signed and registered on the TMS by Enyimba International.
To settle matters, both Rangers and Enyimba met to resolve the issue and the former have taken initiative to rescind the agreement with the player, thereby freeing him to team up with the Aba based side.
The player will now line out for the two time Champions League winners in the 2024/2025 season.
