Nigeria’s John Akusuu Arrives Madagascar For FIBA African Mini-Basket Convention

One of Nigeria’s fastest growing female basketball coaches John Akusuu, has arrived Madagascar for the FIBA African Mini-Basket Convention.

The African Mini-Basket Convention, is organised by FIBA Africa with the support of FIBA Federation, as part of plans to empower National Federation through Mini-Basket’s coaches and promote Mini-Basket in Africa.

Reacting to the development, the Nigeria Basketball Federation described it as another good development for the game in Nigeria, and a further testament to the successful template of series of developmenal plans of the NBBF, aimed at encouraging and helping Nigerian basketball coaches and technical officials to improve their crafts.

The forum will be held in Madagascar from July 15 to 18, 2024. And it will bring together 70 African coaches and 400 children from all the regions of Madagascar.
