Football stakeholders in Ondo state today converged on Dosunmu’s Villa Adebowale Akure-Ondo road to pay their last respect for late Taiwo Dosunmu, the assistant kit manager of Sunshine Stars FC.
Pastor David Ariyo in his sermon at the interment advised living souls to seek God first and live a good life before departing this sinful world .
“Our brother and friend is gone. I pray the Good lord grants him eternal rest, remember God giveth and he taketh“.
Team Cordinator Tokunbo Akinyelure described late Taiwo Dosunmu as a jovial person who is dutiful, also team manger of sunshine stars Seun Betiku in his words described late Taiwo as a good friend and a dedicated worker.
Captain of sunshine stars Abe Sunday said late Taiwo Dosunmu will forever be missed.
“It’s sad Taiwo is gone but God knows best“.
Family members, friends, journalists, staff members of Ondo state football agency, Sunshine Stars players, coaches were present at the internment.
Taiwo Dosunmu died on December 22nd, 2023.
It would be recalled that the deceased was shot when hoodlums attacked Sunshine Stars team bus en-route Benin to honor a league match against Insurance of Benin.
