For the current 2023/24 NWFL Premiership season, the Nigeria Women Football League has opted to move up the scheduled games by three weeks.
The schedule for Matchday 10 has been rescheduled from February 28th, 2024 to March 20th, 2024. The choice to postpone was made in the midst of several pressing problems that need to be addressed right once, such as officiating and match operations.
The NWFL’s Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, stressed how critical it is to resolve these problems quickly in order to ensure a seamless and prosperous 2023/24 NWFL league campaign.
She claims that this choice was made with the apex league’s long-term viability and success in mind.
She conveyed gratitude to all parties involved for their cooperation and understanding.
The NWFL wants players, spectators, and league officials to know that teamwork is being done to overcome the obstacles and provide a fantastic league experience on the new date.
