Paris 2024: Super Falcons Take Big Step To Break Olympics Curse After Big Win Against Ethiopia

Super Falcons of Nigeria have taken a giant step towards breaking the Olympics curse following the 4-0 thumping of Lucy girls of Ethiopia at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja today.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade grabbed a brace to record three goals in both legs after grabbing a crucial equalizer for her side in the first leg encounter in Ethiopia.

Uchenna Kanu also registered her name on the score-sheet as Asisat Oshoala who finished 20th in the Ballon d’Or female rankings yesterday grabbed a brace of assist and one goal.

Nigeria through to the final round of Olympic Qualifiers after beating the Lucy girls of Ethiopia, awaiting winners between Cameroon and Uganda for the Olympic ticket.
