Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan goalkeeper Okiemute Odah has come out to express optimism in the remaining games of the season following his side’s win over Kano Pillars.
The Oluyole Warriors defeated the northern giants 2-1 away from home, their second success in far away north following a 1-0 triumph over Doma United a few weeks earlier.
Undoubtedly one of the best players in the side, Odah’s performances between the sticks for the Oluyole Landlords since his arrival in the January transfer window have been nothing short of heroic.
With Shooting losing only one of their last nine encounters, the 35 year old’s presence has largely contributed to the laudable run by the Gbenga Ogunbote led side.
Speaking to journalists as revealed by the official handle of the club, the former Lobi Stars shot-stopper is confident his side can go on to pick more away wins.
“This is not the end of our celebration away from home. I’m sure we are still going to win more matches, at least two out of our remaining games on the road”.
The Port Harcourt born veteran will come up against his former side, Lobi Stars, when 3SC host the Benue based side on Tuesday, April 16.
