Nigerian Club Register Chairman As Player For Second Stanza

Barrister Amobi Ezeaku is the chairman of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu.

The football administrator is one of the most revered club chairmen in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

His active and course changing contributions have not gone unnoticed in the Nigerian football folklore.

He has received adulations from enthusiasts across the country for the way he has transformed The Flying Antelopes.

He has secured numerous sponsorship deals and rebranded the club that once was about losing its identity.

However, in an interesting development in the 2015/2016 champions’ setup, the club chairman took part in an exhibition game under the watchful eyes of coach Fidelis Ikechukwu who was struck by the football artistry displayed by his boss, reports PoojaMedia.

Following the impressive outing by Barrister Amobi, the coach asked to register the chairman for the remainder of the season. A proposal that was gladly sanctioned by the boss.

History was made on the third day of March as Barrister Amoni Ezeaku made the bench for Rangers’ 2-0 away victory against Niger Tornadoes in Minna.
