Nigeria To Miss UEFA Tournament Due To Visa Issues

The Nigeria U-15 male national football team (Future Eagles) will not participate at the forthcoming UEFA U-16 Development Tournament in Spain.

The contingent comprising players and officials have been denied entry visa by the Spanish Embassy announced the NFF.

“Players and officials of the Nigeria U15 team, Future Eagles, have been denied visas by the Spanish Embassy and will therefore not be travelling to take part in the UEFA U16 Development Tournament starting on Friday.” The message reads as posted on X.

The Future Eagles who just recently were in Morocco for preparatory games will now miss out on the tournament.

They were billed to play Belgium, Italy and England in the tournament that kicks off on Friday in Spain.
