Manu Garba: “Golden Eaglets To Open Camp With 51 Players”

The head coach of the national U-17 team, Manu Garba who was recently reappointed has said via the team’s media officer that the camp will soon open for screening.

Francis Achi, the Golden Eaglets media officer via his X handle made the declaration on Monday.

“Golden Eaglets camp to open with 51 players.” He wrote as being the words of the gaffer.

The team is billed to participate in the WAFU-B U-17 Championship in Ghana next month and the coach has spoken of his determination to get the team ready.

A total of 51 players will be admitted into camp in the coming days with rigorous screening exercises set to commence in Abuja.

Nigeria are five time world champions at the U-17 level with Manu Garba leading the side to their 4th title in 2013
