Iloenyosi Set To Host NFF President As Alhaji Gusau Storms Anambra State

The Anambra State Football Association Chairman Gen Chikelue Iloenyosi has concluded plans on a groundbreaking reception and hosting of the Nigerian Football Federation President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau in the state.

The NFF supremo is expected to be in Anambra state on Monday 1st January 2024 for the finals of the Nanka Champions league. 

Iloenyosi has disclosed that plans have been concluded for the warm reception of the Alhaji Gusau describing the moment as an important one and first time the Football Boss will be in the state since he was elected to oversee football affairs in Nigeria last year in Benin. 

“This is an important moment for us. We are glad to have my Boss, the NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau coming to our state. This has shown that Alhaji Gusau believes in grassroot football development as the catalyst for football improvement in our nation”.

“This is his first visit to Anambra since he was elected into office last year at the NFF elective congress in Benin. We have concluded plans on how best to welcome and host our president and make him feel at home. Anambra is safe”.

General as he is fondly called appreciated the Prof. Sir Poly Emenike for his football philanthropic gestures on whose instance Alhaji Gusau is visiting Nanka. 

“For Prof. Poly Emenike (Odenigbo Nanka), he has distinguished himself in the area of football philanthropy. As the longest running state FA Cup sponsor in Nigeria he has demonstrated that his love for the game is immeasurable”.

He has extended that love to his hometown Nanka where he built a state of the art sports complex and on the 1st together with the NFF President Nanka will celebrate 40 years of his sponsorship of the Nanka Champions league. Such a gem is rare. Congratulations to you Odenigbo Nanka and the entire Nanka community.

All football stakeholders in the state are by this notice expected to be at Neros Stadium Nanka by 12pm for the finals of the Nanka Champions league.
