Fidelis Ilechukwu Wins 2023/24 NPFL Best Coach Award

Fidelis Ilechukwu, Enugu Rangers Football Club head coach has been crowned as the best coach for the 2023/24 NPFL campaign.

The former MFM manager guided the ‘Cathedral Boys’ to their eight NPFL title, the first since 2016 and also the first of his managerial career having also coached Plateau United.

He has been awarded a sum of one million naira for scooping the standout manager award as he will be looking to do much more on the continent (CAF Champions League) as well as also defending their crown.

Only Enyimba, with nine titles, have won more NPFL championships than the Flying Antelopes, whose last triumph came in 2016.
They haven’t just won the league, they have also secured CAF champions slot for the next season.

Enugu Rangers were crowned 2023/24 NPFL champions after a brilliant 2-0 victory against Bendel Insurance in front of a roaring home crowd at the Cathedral in just Fidelis’s first season with the club.
