African Games: Uganda Seal Qualification With Victory Over Senegal Who Risk First Round Elimination

Uganda recorded another deserved victory against one of the competition favourites Senegal in the football competition of the All African Games as they laboured to a 1- 0 win to seal progression into the next stage with six points from two games.

Pitted in group B with the likes of South Sudan, Nigeria and Senegal, Uganda recorded another three points to go top of the group and book their place in the next round.

Up next, Nigeria will be playing South Sudan as they look to overturn the first leg loss against Uganda.

Senegal, who won their opening game against South Sudan will now play Nigeria next in what seems to be a tricky contest for a quarter final spot.
