Abia Comets Chairman Chief Boniface Alozie Uche Praises Players’ Performance In Victory Over Beyond Limits FA

The Chairman of Abia Comets FC Chief Boniface Alozie Uche has praised the players’ performance in their 2-0 win over Beyond Limits FA on Saturday.

The chairman while speaking with the players’ after the conclusion of their Monday training session at the Umuahia Township Stadium revealed that he was proud with the way the team played which showed desire and hard work.

“I’m so happy with the way you played and the desire you showed to come out victorious in the game. I still believe we can play more better as a team but we have to be starting the game in a fast pace and not starting late in games”, Chief Boniface Alozie said.

“But I’m so happy with the way you performed not just the winning but how you dominated the game,” the chairman concluded.

The Sporting Director, Mr Nnorom Kelechi Orji who came alongside the chairman also lauded to the players’ outing as he encouraged them to keep on working hard as a team.

The match on Saturday which attracted the presence of the deputy speaker Abia State House of Assembly Mr. Okezie Meregini, commissioner for Sports Sir Nwobilor Ananaba among other dignitaries featured a raffle draw at halftime which saw fans win prizes including mobile phones, face caps and replica jerseys.

The raffle draw will continue in the next two Abia Comets home games with fans expecting to win more prizes.

Abia Comets will continue on its preparation ahead of this Friday’s Matchday 3 encounter away against Madiba FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium.
