Peace Efih Confirms Exit From Portuguese Club SC Braga Femenino

Super Falcons midfielder, Peace Efih has confirmed her exit from Portuguese side, SC Braga Femenino following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign where the club finished 5th on the Campeonato Nacional Feminino league.

The club officially confirmed on their official website the list of players’ that will be leaving the club following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

SC Braga hereby announces that the players Ana Carolina Ferreira, Ana Nogueira, Bia Meio-Metro, Carolina Mendes, Caroline Kehrer, Carlyn Baldwin, Grace Stordy, Joline Amani, Leonor Freitas, Melisa Hasanbegović, Peace Efih, Tânia Rodrigues and Vitória Almeida will not be part of the Club’s women’s senior team squad in the 2024/25 season.

“SC Braga is grateful for all the commitment, dedication and professionalism with which they have always represented the Club and wishes them all the best personally and professionally for the future”.

The 2021/22 Taça da Liga champion shared her farewell message on her social media: “Saying goodbye isn’t easy but it’s a necessary part of the journey”.

“Thank you SC Braga Femenino, I wish the team all the best in their future”.

She previously played for Edo Queens and Rivers Angels in the Nigeria Women Premier League. At the 2018 WAFU Zone B Women’s Cup, Efih scored the lone goal in Nigeria’s first game at the tournament.
