OWQ: Super Falcons Earn Valuable Draw In Douala

The national women football team of Nigeria, the Super Falcons earned a vital away draw in far away Douala.

The African champions are in the hunt for a qualification ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris later this year.

Randy Waldrum fielded a strong XI that included Asisat Oshoala and the returning Ashleigh Plumptre.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon however refused to be intimated by the star studded Nigerian side and ensured they left the pitch valiantly with a hard earned point.

Super Falcons hold the advantage following the result as they host the Cameroonians in Nigeria on the 26th of February.

The winners of the tie secure an automatic slot at the Olympic Games in Paris, France later in the year.
