Edo Queens head coach Moses Aduku has described his team 1-5 mauling of Confluence Queens as a sweet revenge as the NWFL Super 6 gets underway at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenogoa, Bayelsa.

Speaking in a presser after the game, the tactician revealed how delighted he was that they could get one finally against a bitter foe in Confluence Queens, referencing the antecedents of events in Delta, Asaba during the 2022/23 season where Delta Queens were crowned champions.

“One of the things that changed for us is that we had opportunities last season but we couldn’t score and we worked well on it this season and we scored five goals. Well, I’m happy we won and my impression is that the female league is developing everyday”.

Last season, we knew how it ended in the Super 6 in Bayelsa and this is a great moment for us, more like a revenge, a good payback time.

“Confluence Queens also have very good players and they had one or two chances but they couldn’t take it while we did go on to execute ours. on the next game, ” we hope to win, so we are going to prepare for the next game against Rivers.

Up next for Edo Queens is a big test against Rivers Angels.
