The Nigeria Professional Premier League body (NPFL) have announced a shift in date for the match day six fixture between Doma United and Bendel Insurance as gathered by speeedysports.com as conveyed in a letter signed by the League’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi.
Initially, the NPFL game was scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at the Pantami Stadium but the fixture has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 but the game will go ahead at the same venue.
Doma United, amidst these fixture changes, has played only four games out of the scheduled five, with our week four game against Enyimba also experiencing a rescheduling.
The team’s performance in the NPFL so far stands at four points garnered from our recent encounters.
They have clinched a victory at home against Bayelsa United, and secured a goalless draw in an away match against Sporting Lagos, but faced defeats in away matches against Enugu Rangers and Shooting Stars.
The official communique stated that the decision to reschedule the match day six fixture was due to logistical reasons.
Doma United remains prepared and focused, as we now turn our attention to a Northeast Derby against our neighbours Gombe United on Sunday 5th November 2023 at the Pantami Stadium.
