Dele-Bashiru

Following months of speculation regarding his future where he has been mostly linked with a switch to Serie A, Dele-Bashiru has today joined Lazio for the 2024/25 campaign.

In an official press release from the club, SS Lazio announced that it has acquired on a temporary basis with an obligation to buy the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Oluwafisayo Faruq Dele-Bashiru from Atakaş Hatayspor FK.

Lazio reportedly paid €2 million for the initial loan and will need to cough up another €4 million to make the move permanent based on performance for the Super Eagles 23 year old midfielder.

Dele-Bashiru, who joined Hatayspor on a free transfer last year, is contracted with them until 2026.
