Enugu Rangers International captain Chidiebere Nwobodo announced his departure in a farewell letter addressed to the club.
The right winger has announced he’ll be leaving the club after four incredible years at the Cathedral.
He led his side to the NPFL title in the just ended season and has reportedly secured a move abroad.
“Appreciation and gratitude are the two words that come to my mind on the day I have to say goodbye to all of you, Rangers.” He wrote.
“Thankful for the opportunity to have been a part of this club and Rangers community, the continuous support I have received since day one has been incredible, amazing and overwhelming.
“These past four years have been a time of learning for me and my family, some wins. Some defeats, but without a doubt, a life-changing experience.
To my teammates, coaches, staff and management; you were all part of it.
And to the fans, I don’t have the words. You all will have my deepest gratitude forever. All the best always, Rangers Int’l FC.” Concluded the energetic player.
Reports have it that Nwobodo has secured a move to an East African club and will complete the move in the coming days.
