Adedeji Adeyemi Gets FC Witikon Managerial Appointment

Adedeji Adeyemi has been promoted by Swiss outfit FC Witikon as the new head coach following his spells as assistant coach.

“Having been satisfied with the quality of intellectual capacity and competences displayed by the former Stationery Stores forward viz a viz the outstanding results churned out by the Club, the FC Witikon is pleased to announce the promotion of Coach Adedeji Adeyemi from 1st Assistant Coach to Head Coach”.

Adeyemi, who started with the club from third tier has been receiving an astronomical progress barely a year with the club

Speaking with Sunday Agunbiade popularly known as Mr VAR, the former Brila FM pundit expressed joy on his Paradigm elevation within the little time he spent with the club. He says;

“I am highly delighted to inform you that I have been promoted from 1st Assistant Coach to the Head Coach”.

“My club FC Witikon has promoted me to Head Coach from 1st Assistant to the Head Coach. This means that I will lead the team starting from January, 2024 with 2 liga come next season from summer”. 

“It would be recalled that I was appointed the Head Coach of 3liga in December 2022 and got promoted to 1st Assistant and now to the chief coach”.

“This calls for celebrations my able journalist”, he said.

The Lagos born tactician added that: “Mr VAR, I have been with the team doing my job for a year now, and after seeing my hard work, training philosophy and model, they got sparked up”.

“My tactical inputs impacted and helped the team churned out good results. This just prompted them and they told me that they have no choice than to promote me to lead the club next summer”.

“To God be the glory. This calls for celebration! He enthusiastically hinted.

The former Stationery Stores player had coaching stints with FC Dubendorf and FC Kloten Frauen in Switzerland.

The 39-year-old, who has a UEFA B coaching license, once represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-2O level.

He won the 1998 FA Cup with Stationary Stores.

Anthony will be looking forward to consolidating on his technical prowess that earned him this accelerated promotion within a year.
